As a member of the organizing committee of the 37th EUROMICRO Conference on Software Engineering and Advanced Applications — Software Process and Product Improvement (SPPI) Track to be held in Oulu, Finland, from August 30 to September 2, 2011, I invite you to submit your original research. More specifically, we want to bring together researchers and practitioners to share SPPI innovations and experiences. The track is an integral part of the 37th Euromicro Conference on Software Engineering and Advanced Applications (SEAA) 2011.
Suggested topics of interest include, but are not restricted to:

* Process modelling, composition, and enactment

* Quality assurance, inspections, testing
* Software evolution
* Innovative approaches to software development
* Empirical studies and experimental approaches
In particular, we encourage submissions demonstrating the benefits or limitations of SPPI approaches through case studies, experiments, and quantitative data.
The conference proceedings will be published by the IEEE Computer Society.
